ACTIVITY

DESCRIPTION

The iParticipate platform has the overall objective of fostering citizen participation in the electoral process, with a special emphasis on youth participation, by offering an interactive and dynamic digital platform that brings the electoral process closer to those that will be voting for their future. In this regard, iParticipate will include the following sections:

  1. Know your candidate: this section will contain information about each candidate, his/her personal information, biography, political party and career.
  2. Discover your choice: this section is a quiz allowing users to better know their own opinions and similarity/differences with candidates regarding a specific topic.
  3. Elections and you: this module informs users about the election process, main news related to election milestones, how to vote and where to vote.
  4. Post-election: discover the results: in this section, the user should be able to see election result. This section will be available after the elections.

To increase the reach of the iParticipate platform, alternative venues for further transmission of information beyond digital means will be used (e.g., Radio, Television, jingles, etc.).
